Capstone
Elevating a London HQ with a curated collection shaped by space, materials and movement.
The Art Office was appointed as the exclusive arts agency to curate a bespoke collection for Capstone’s new London headquarters. The goal was to build a cohesive collection that integrated established and emerging artists, while working in close alignment with the interior design vision of the space.
Art Curation by The Art Office
Client
Capstone

Collaborating directly with Capstone’s design team, The Art Office developed a curatorial framework that responded to the materials, textures, and architectural rhythm of the workspace. The resulting collection was carefully placed to enhance the environment - adding depth, personality, and visual intrigue throughout the office.

A standout feature of the project was a site-specific installation by Shan Hur, known for his sculptural interventions in architectural contexts. For Capstone, Hur embedded a ceramic vase into a structural pillar, subtly breaking the expected visual flow of the space. This thoughtful gesture was designed to prompt employees to look beyond conventional wall-based artworks and engage with the surrounding environment in a more reflective and curious way.

Outcomes
- A curated collection that balances artistic quality with spatial sensitivity, aligning with Capstone’s values of excellence and innovation.
- Seamless integration of artworks into the architectural and interior design language of the space.
- Inclusion of Shan Hur’s sculptural intervention, creating a moment of quiet disruption and discovery within the office.
- A more inspiring and culturally enriched workspace, with positive feedback from both employees and visitors.
- Reinforcement of Capstone’s identity as a forward-thinking, detail-driven organisation that values art as part of its workplace culture.
